Rates

Hourly rate

Along with the majority of lawyers offices, Roest Singh Lawyers does not apply fixed rates. The rate per lawyer varies (from € 135,-- to € 300,-- an hour, excluding VAT and expenses). This rate is common practice in the legal profession. Depending on a number of factors, this rate may be higher or lower. These factors can be the following:

  • Urgency
  • Required knowledge
  • Financial interest
  • Your financial means
  • End result

Fixed amount

We also use all-in prices. You receive an indication of the total costs in advance.

Collection rate

On collecting claims we use the following percentages for off-court proceedings, except when other price policies apply. These percentages are based on the actually collected amount. We can also provide you with a combination of hourly rate and the commission percentage. A no-cure-no-pay price agreement is another possibility at Roes Singh Lawyers. Point of departure is the fact that the debtor pays the costs.

  Euro Percentage
For the first: € 2.949,57 15%
For the additional amount up to: € 5.899,14 10%
For the additional amount up to: € 14.747,86 8%
For the additional amount up to: € 58.991,43 5%
For the additional amount above: € 58.991,43 3%

Financed legal aid

If you are not capable of (completely) satisfying the costs of legal assistance, you can still request our services. Certain circumstances allow for financed legal aid. We can file a petition at the legal aid council. For receiving an assignment you will be charged a small contribution (depending on your income) by the legal aid council. You are asked to pay this contribution and the remaining legal aid charges will be carried by the goverment.

Criteria

The most important criteria which qualify for financed legal aid are:

  1. A legal problem
  2. The financial interests of the case
  3. Your income
  4. Your means.
